A Gamers' Gaming Getaway is an opportunity to have fun playing a wide variety of games face-to-face in the beautiful surroundings of Blackwell Court.
Everyone is welcome although the event is particularly aimed at those who often work or volunteer at games events and conventions, and who may appreciate a relaxed opportunity to meet new people while playing a diverse range of different games.
Games publishers, designers, event organisers and traders are particularly welcome to attend with the opportunity to share experiences without the pressure of exhibiting to the general public.
There is simple on-site accommodation for 110 people and around 50 additional tickets available for those who live locally or wish to stay offsite.
We, the organising team, are seeking to create a collaborative and inclusive culture with everyone encouraged to contribute to the event. We hope that all attendees will have a wonderful time. Please join the Gamers Gaming Getaway Facebook group if you wish to discuss running games or events at the Getaway.

Blackwell Court is a magnificent Victorian mansion house set in 52 acres of beautiful parkland that was acquired by Birmingham Scouts in the 1960s and now forms part of Blackwell's Adventure Centre.
The Adventure Centre now also includes luxury glamping pods and several other buildings which we will be using for different gaming areas.
Whilst the main focus of A Gamers Gaming Getaway will be on playing games and socialising indoors, we hope that everyone will be able to also enjoy the grounds. Those who wish to try the Heroquest LARP adventures will get to explore more of the grounds.
Blackwells Adventure Centre is within easy reach of the M42 and M5 motorways.
A Gamers' Gaming Getaway could not happen without the support and assistance of many friends in the games industry and live roleplaying community.
We are particularly grateful to UK Games Expo and the organisers of other smaller games conventions for their advice and support in running the first Gamers' Gaming Getaway in 2021. Thanks too to Heroquest for their assistance in running parts of the event.
There are opportunities to sponsor parts of the event to help keep costs down for attendees and to subsidise our team of volunteers so that they can help deliver a high quality event.
Please let Dave know if you might be interested in sponsoring A Gamers' Gaming Getaway, donating items to be won in our charity auction or raffle and/or in advertising opportunities.
